LARS-ERIK FRANTZEN
Hello! My name is Lars, or “Larsernlars”, and I’m a music producer from Oslo, Norway. I studied a BA in Music Technology here in Trondheim and am now attending LIMPI (2025–2026) just to get dritgod (in Norwegian this means like: really, really good). I have been producing since 2019 and love being both technical and creative in my productions, blending all kinds of elements to make the music feel more alive. I mainly play piano and guitar.
My main genre leans toward dark pop and experimental pop, inspired by artists like Billie Eilish, Tate McRae, RAYE, SZA, FLO, Emilie Nicolas, SKAAR, Askjell, Saya Gray, brakence, and Omar Apollo, with a touch of … rock? Honestly, I don’t really know what I do. I just mess around in Ableton until something cool comes out.
This year I have been working a lot with Juell, Olive Dyb, Naarth, and other small local artists/songwriters around Trondheim. This is my sixth time attending Song Expo, and I always both love it and feel both excited and nervous about it. Hopefully this year I will finally figure out what genre I actually make… or maybe not.
